communication

i had another take-home exam due today.

that is 6 total so far.
school isn't harder here,
but i have MUCH more work do to every week.
in order to complete this oh so fun exam concerning
international intellectual property,
i went to bed at about 2am, and got up at about 5:30am.
this was also the time my russian roommate and her friends
got back home :)

after i turned in my paper, i took a little nap,
i got up around noon to make myself some brunch,
(found old el paso hot salsa at the store.not hot at all, but i was happy to find it!)
and found my roommate's nice friends hanging out in the kitchen.
one was from spain and the other was from the ukraine.

in a perfect world, we would all be speaking french to each other,
but i dont really know french, and we were all pretty tired.
so the spaniard was speaking spanish,
the ukrainian was speaking french,
and i was speaking english.
we all understood each other.
times like this make me appreciate being able to communicate with people from different parts of the world :)
