store bought preserves

i live in a land where cotton is king
windmills are common
buddy still lives
canyons are beautifully desolate
and community life flourishes

my friends and i decided to participate in one of these
community events
an apple picking festival
at the festival, i decided to buy apple butter. i needed something to go with the apple butter, so i also bought homemade apple cider sourdough bread. the apple butter was not my favorite, so i put the bread in the freezer and forgot about it for a couple of months. i decided i should probably eat the bread before the end of the semester, so i went to the store to buy preserves. i'm not usually big on jams, jellys, and preserves, but man this stuff is good. i have had it for about three weeks and it is almost gone.
deliciousness in a jar.
